Shirley Ruth
A long-time resident of Westlawn Gardens, Shirley never saw herself taking a leading role in community projects, but since her involvement with Possibilities, that is just what she has done! Shirley’s sense of humor and openness to new ideas have served her well as a community volunteer. Her skills and confidence have grown. Shirley volunteers with Mark Twain Elementary. She has helped to organize a neighborhood-wide garage sale. And, as her Possibilities project, there are edged curbs and freshly painted address numbers in Westlawn so that emergency vehicles can find their way to the right home!
