NEIGHBORHOOD: CENTRAL PARK
I lived in Central Park when I was first introduced to Possibilities. I became a part of the Meerkats, which was a group of girls working in our neighborhood. We had to speak in front of a panel in order to gain a grant from Youth Leadership Services. This helped me to build my confidence in speaking in front of crowds.
I am now a third year student at Langston University. I have one more semester before I enter into the nursing program. My goal is to graduate as a Registered Nurse and be able to give back to the community. I would love to come back to Possibilities and work with the youth.
