Corina Ramirez
After finding that one of her kids struggled with reading, Corina made it her job to help other kids gain a love of reading. As her project with Possibilities, Corina organized a literacy project called “Tea Time with Mother” to help moms and daughters read together. There was standing room only with more than 100 there! Plus, with only $200 in seed money, Corina raised nearly $10,000 to make sure that every child at the event took home free books.
